On this module, you’ll critically explore public relations (PR) as a strategic communication function and its role in contemporary societies.

You’ll evaluate key concepts, debates, and real-world PR campaigns while gaining practical experience in campaign planning.

Key activities include:

  • designing and evaluating communications campaigns based on real-life briefs
  • analysing case studies
  • participating in class debates
  • learning from guest speakers with PR industry experience.

You’ll develop communication and report-writing skills, identify solutions to communication challenges and build a critical understanding of PR theory and practice.
